Well for this I'm sorry I don't know the price because it was a gift from my cousin. I do know you can find Giovi makeup on Amazon.com. Its very cute. To open the set that I have you have to twist the black part counter-clockwise and to close obviously you twist it the opposite way, clockwise. You can open the top by flipping it open. There you will reveal a half circled sponge and two eyeshadow sponges. If you lift that compartment it will reveal a powder foundation. It feels silky and goes on matte when I did a swatch. There's no shimmer. The eye shadows however are VERY shimmery. It's cute but so far I've only used the white as highlight and the very light brown for highlight. I still have to try the other colors. Again I'm sorry I can't tell you the price of mines. I'm pretty sure she got it at a store called Ross.

EyesLipsFace Brushes Reviews + Pictures
PLEASE REMEMBER : I bought these about 1 year ago. So they might have upgraded these brushes. So these reviews are about their brushes from last year. I'm pretty sure they've made them better. Feel free to go buy them & leave a comment of your review. =)
This is from the Essential line.
By The Way : The photos below belong to me as well as every other picture on my blog! =)
(l-r) Total face, bronzer, foundation, brow comb & brush, blending, eye shadow, eye defining, smudge, lip, eyeliner & concealer. |
So this is the E.L.F. professional Total Face Brush. I used to use it to apply my finishing powder or any loose powders. It was a little soft in the beginning but eventually became a bit rough. The brush/metal part actually separated from the handle. It still works though. I mean yeah the brush became rough but its still bearable to me. It's not really a big deal. I can still use it. It does kind of poke though which sucks. Also the brush is pretty packed. I really DON'T recommend this brush but if you'd like to try it, it is only $1 at eyeslipsface.
This is the E.L.F. professional Bronzing Brush & I do use it to apply bronzer. It's real rough now and it does poke. I mean it does get into the hollows of my cheeks and it applies bronzer great but I hate using it because its like I can feel my skin get irritated. This brush is also sold at $1 at eyeslipsface. I DON'T recommend buying this.
E.L.F. professional Foundation Brush. This brush is really small so I would actually use it as a concealer brush or not even buy it at all. The first time I got this I didn't have makeup on so I decided that it would be a perfect time to test it out. I went to get my foundation and put some on the back of my hand. I dipped my brush in and started applying it to my face. I automatically notice that it left streaks and didn't apply well at all. It sucked. After I just washed the brush and left it in my brush holder. Sold for $1 at eyeslipsface. I DON'T recommend it.
I barely use this but it came as a set and this was in it. At the bottom of the brush side, I don't know if you can see it, but there's this little loop... yeah it came like that. The bristles or what ever you want to call them are sore and rough. So I don't use that at all. The comb I actually don't use on myself but on my brushes. lol. Sometimes my brushes get tangled I guess you can say and I use it to comb them out. Sold for a buck at eyeslipsface. I also DON'T recommend this.
Sorry about the label but this is the E.L.F. professional Blending Eye Brush. I use this all the time. It's very good. It's a little to big to get just in the crease but it does what it says... and that's blend. After a year of daily usage and washes it's still as soft as when I got them. The brush is also packed in pretty well. Find this at eyeslipsfaceI DO recommend this.
This is the E.L.F. professional Eye Shadow Brush. I still use it and it's very good. It's still soft and I like it. It is very useful. It also packs in a lot of color. I really like this brush. I like this brush as much as I like the blending brush. ha ha. It really is a good quality brush for just 1 dollar. It's very surprising that these good brushes are just one dollar. You can find this brush at eyeslipsface. & yes I DO recommend it.
E.L.F. professional Defining Eye Brush. I love to use this to apply my highlight right under my eye brows on my brow bone. It's the PERFECT shape to fit just right under there. It blends my highlight in real good and it picks up a good amount of product. I use this all the time. It's also still soft! I RECOMMEND it. Get it for $1 at eyeslipsface.
E.L.F. professional Smudge Eye Sponge. This sponge is alright. I used it actually for a couple different "techniques". So I did use it to blend my eyeliner on my bottom water line, but I also did use it to blend a brown eyeliner on my lid, and also put a small tiny bit of product at the tip to place in my crease. So it's semi-useful I would say. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT OR NOT RECOMMEND IT... its just if you need to use it I guess. $1 at eyeslipsface.
I've use this brush, E.L.F. professional Lip Defining Brush, only a few times. I barely use lip products but I use this when I use lipsticks. I like it because the brush is small so it can get into the corners of my lip and get as close to the trim of my lip as it can. I really like it so yeah I'd RECOMMEND it. Only $1 at eyeslipsface.
I used this E.L.F. Eye Liner Brush once and I hated it. Its dirty because my cousin used it. My personal reason that I didn't like it was because its hard to put eyeliner with a straight top eye liner brush. I prefer to put eye liner with a slanted tip just because its WAY easier to apply. If you want to purchase this $1 brush you can purchase it at eyeslipsface.
This E.L.F. Concealer Brush is also sold for $1 at eyeslipsface. I don't use it cause it's not very useful. Its also pokes. I DON'T recommend it. As I seen the picture on their website though it looks a bit longer.

CVS Apricot Scrub Review + Picture
I bought this about a week ago. It was on sale at Longs Drugs for around $2. Distributed by CVS Pharmacy, Inc. Made in Canada
Website: http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/catalog/shop_product_detail.jsp?filterBy=&skuId=341380&productId=341380&navAction=jump&navCount=3 ($2.79)
Phone Number: 1-800-shop-CVS
7467-287
Front:
It's a blemish and blackhead control scrub. It smells wonderful. And the beads don't melt or anything so you feel your face actually getting a scrub. It's used to gently remove dirt, oil and dead skin cells without clogging pores. AND it's oil-free. Compare to St. Ives Apricot Scrub Net WT. 6 OZ (170g)
Back:
Reveals smooth, healthy, more radiant skin with the use of natural exfoliants that gently remove dull, dead skin cells. It says that if you use other topical acne drugs at the same time or right after the use of this product it may increase dryness and irritation. If that occurs use only one of the acne drugs.
Active ingredients:
Sallicylic acid 2%...................... Purpose: Acne Medication
Directions:
- Moisten face
- Apply with wet fingertips and massage into skin for one minute
- Rinse well and pat dry
My Review:
This scrub smells sooo good. I love the smell. Anyways I really like the beads because they're not the type of beds that melt like some other scrubs. These beads stay the same so it feels like your really getting a good clean. I actually stopped breaking out. I usually breakout when I'm menstruating but I haven't used this around that time since I did only get it last week. This is my last step when I take a shower. Just so I know my pores are open and ready to get clean. & when I get out I pat my face dry. Don't wipe your face because you irritate the skin. I love that it's oil-free since I'm already oily enough. After my first use my face felt soft and clean. I haven't had a breakout ever since I got it but if my experience changes I will post an update.
Recommend?
Yes I actually do recommend it. For $2 what can you lose. It's cheap.
